Press Release – Foresight Analytics Expands Leadership, Appoints Rob da Silva as Head of Research

Foresight Analytics is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob da Silva as its new Head of Research. Rob will lead the firm’s research and due diligence effort as Foresight expands its investment research coverage, distribution footprint and analytical capabilities.
Foresight Analytics & Ratings, the research subsidiary of the group, has experienced rapid growth in recent years. Its success is driven by evidence- based fundamental research on investment markets and products that is executed by highly experienced specialist with hands on money management experience.

Rob brings over 40 years of investment management and fund research expertise to Foresight Analytics and its clients. Rob has held senior roles in the industry, including Head of Research at SQM, Research IP and van Eyk.
During his time at SQM, Rob expanded the research coverage of the firm tenfold and built a high-performing analyst team. He has evaluated over 300 fund managers and 2,000 investment products across traditional and alternative asset classes. He was Deputy CIO and Deputy Head of Research at van Eyk, before which he spent 23 years managing multi-billion-dollar bond portfolios at BT Funds Management and Principal Global Investors.
An active industry speaker, Rob has contributed to thought leadership and differentiated insights in conferences managed by Inside Network, IMAP, Conexus and Professional Planner. He has also been an IMAP Awards Judging Panellist for 4 years and is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).
